Ms. Wienick served in the United States Army as a military intelligence linguist from 1989-1993. In 1997, she received her undergraduate degrees in political science and Korean studies, magna cum laude from the University of Washington. She is also a 2000 graduate of the University of California Hastings College of the Law, cum laude, and a licensed attorney in California. Ms. Wienick practiced law as a litigation attorney in Los Angeles until her daughter was born in 2009. She has extensive training in mediation, focusing on high conflict dispute resolution in the areas of family law and child custody.
In 2022, Ms. Wienick graduated with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California’s Suzanne Dworack-Peck School of Social Work, with a concentration in Adult Mental Health and Wellness. Ms. Wienick is registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker, and she also works part-time as a therapist under the supervision of Patricia Fiamengo, LCSW. Ms. Wienick is on track to complete her professional experience hours requirement by the end of 2025, after which she will take the licensing exam to become a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
